I'm starting this blog as another way of communicating about opportunities for ministry with youth in the Episcopal Diocese of Iowa. We use Facebook a lot right now, but why not expand to a blog as well!
The summer of 2009 has been great, with a new camp program being experimented with and I think we are definitely headed in the right direction.
We hosted a Godly Play CORE training in Iowa City, had more children and youth than ever at the Diocesan Ministries School and Retreat, and had a great High School Retreat at Pictured Rocks Camp in Monticello.Coming up this Fall is Happening #27 September 5-7 and New Beginnings #3 October 2-4.
Church of the Saviour in Clermont will also be hosting another camp out! This time familes are especially invited to come together.
Then, we wrap up the 2009 Youth Program with the Youth Conference and Diocesan Convention November 6-7.
